Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office Accepts Delivery of New Bell 412EPI
Albuquerque, New Mexico (July 30, 2024) - Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today the delivery of a Bell 412EPI to the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office during a press conference at Double Eagle II Airport. The Unit, commonly referred to as MASU (Metropolitan Air Support Unit), will use its new Bell 412EPI to grow its public safety capabilities throughout New Mexico's most populous county.

Known for their cutting-edge response rates, MASU frequently adds to the capabilities of local public safety agencies, including local law enforcement and fire departments, during emergencies. With the recent delivery of its Bell 412EPI, MASU plans to increase their public safety presence through using the advanced capabilities of the aircraft with the goal of providing a sense of safety and well-being to all that they serve.

With 21st century flight technology, the Bell 412EPI offers high-resolution maps and terrain data on four displays, allowing pilots to navigate in challenging environments more efficiently. This multi-mission ready aircraft has the capacity to seat up to 14 passengers, allowing for crews to include essential medical and law enforcement equipment needed for emergency missions.
To date, more than 54 percent of the Bell 412 global fleet are involved in parapublic and military missions worldwide.
